Change Over Motor 1 Contactor Fault (Feed Width - Non-Operator Side) Possible Causes: 1) The PLC output for the contactor was energized, but the auxilliary contact input signal did not detect power within a time period. If 230 VAC power is off, the time delay detection is disabled. 2) The PLC output for the contactor was not energized, but the auxilliary contact input signal detected power for a time period. If 230 VAC power is off, the time delay detection is disabled. 3) The PLC output for the contactor was energized simultaneously while the auxilliary contact for another contactor under VFD2 was also detecting power. Possible Solutions: 1) Check contactors involved to insure that a contact is not sticking in the ON or OFF position.
